The clamp is very tight. I think it may leave marks on the "soft" metal of the bracelet. It would probably be better to use a plastic "crocodile", to hold the bracelet you don't need much force. Below in the photo is a plastic "crocodile".

I have a "difficult" bracelet - tried it on right away - everything is excellent, only there might be scratches on the clasp - the teeth could also be slightly rubberized.
