Its characteristic EQD design preserves the core of the original sound, preventing saturation and sound collapse, even at deep reverb settings. Each reverb mode provides a slight spatial vibration, creating a unique, dark atmosphere. Furthermore, lowering the damping (sound absorption rate of the space) activates high-frequency feedback, creating a dreamy space distinct from shimmering effects. EQD calls Ledges a "post-rock/alternative reverb." The three included reverb modes were carefully selected by EQD developer Jamie Stillman from over 700 circuits. To fully immerse you in the space, Ledges features a buffered bypass, allowing the reverberation to persist even when the pedal is turned off. Like many other EQD pedals, Ledges allows you to connect an expression pedal to control all of the LengthDampingMix parameters with your foot.
