This compact helmet ornament, inspired by the Battle of Okehazama, combines a palm-sized and heavy helmet of Oda Nobunaga, a famous general's helmet, with a screen featuring a passage from the Kōwaka dance "Atsumori," famous for Nobunaga's favorite line, "Life is fifty years..."
The helmet comes in two variations: a golden helmet (all gold) and a famous general's helmet (gold only on the front).
The screen (a folding screen used to prevent ink from drying out) is reversible, featuring "Atsumori" on the front and a "treasure ship" on the back.
Both the helmet and screen are works of art (cast metal) made in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, a city famous for its casting.
