At the end of 2023, the Mini-Z MR-04EVO2 underwent a full model change after 14 years. While retaining the outstanding layout of the MR-03, performance has been dramatically improved with the addition of a sensored brushless motor, a revamped front suspension, and a lower battery center of gravity. The MR-04EVO2 is now undergoing a minor change, bringing further performance updates. Pre-installed on the RWD series, it features the reinforced 2.0 front suspension arm, and a gyro unit set, which is said to be installed in 100% of racing cars. Furthermore, this gyro unit is the "V2" model, a new model that combines high levels of stability and cornering performance. This not only sharpens the car's competitive potential in racing, but also significantly enhances the driving experience. Also important for racing users is the inclusion of the latest R/C unit, allowing for motor RPM control. This feature is essential for users seeking more advanced settings while maintaining the fairness of the race. Previously, Mini-Z Cup regulations restricted the motor's KV (rpm/voltage) value, but starting in 2025, they will be changed to restrict the motor's rpm itself. The MR-04EVO2 fully complies with these new rpm restrictions. Using the I.C.S. Setting Manager, you can customize the motor to meet the regulations of each class.
