This is a round, bentwood bento box. Odate Kogeisha's bento boxes are coated with urethane paint, making them suitable for oily dishes such as fried rice and rice bowls. After use, they can be thoroughly washed with dish soap. Odate Kogeisha is committed to using precious Akita cedar trees over 100 years old for their products. From lumbering and bending to cherry bark stitching, bottom insertion, and finishing, everything is done in-house, with skilled craftsmen creating each "magewappa" (bentwood bento box).
