These installations are very easy. No modification is required at all. Just use a small flat-blade screwdriver to remove the lampshade, and directly replace the stock lamp with the LED lamp. Since the LED light has + and-terminals, if it does not light up after being plugged into the socket, you only need to reverse the terminals.
Due to the low wattage of LED bulbs, when installing on some vehicles, you may need to click on the load resistance to eliminate error codes and/or flickering problems on the dashboard.
