How to Use: How to Use: Rainbow Henna can be applied to wet or dry hair, but make sure your hair is clean and free of hair spray, gel, or conditioner. If you washed your hair with shampoo first, towel dry your hair before applying. Place Rainbow Henna Powder in a glass or plastic bowl. Use enough powder to cover the area to be applied. *Do not use metal bowls or utensils.* Bring 8 to 16 oz of liquid (water, coffee, tea) to a boil. Slowly pour in the liquid and mix thoroughly using a wooden or plastic spoon until it reaches a creamy yogurt-like consistency. If the mixture becomes too thick or thickens during application, you can add more liquid. You don't need to use all of the liquid to get the right texture. For gray hair, mix the powder with coffee or tea and add 1 to 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. *See below for detailed instructions to achieve desired results. .*Special secrets and tips to cover gray hair according to your personal taste: Coffee or black tea (English Breakfast, Darjeeling, Ceylon): Use instead of water to reduce red tones and deepen red-brown tones or to cover gray hair. Please use coffee/tea. We use black coffee, not instant coffee. You can also use coffee substitutes. Wrap the hair with a shower cap, plastic bag, or plastic wrap to secure the henna to the hair. Wrap the towel around your head like a turban and apply heat.TimeFor best results, use a salon-grade dome dryer, heat lamp, or heated cap.Time required: Black, Red, Sherry, Mahogany, Burgundy, Dark Brown, Medium Brown, Copper - heated for 45-60 minutes, unheated for 60-75 minutes.
