Sound can be easily produced by simply placing it over your mouth and blowing and sucking, making it an ideal introduction instrument for young children and for musical play. The mouthpiece and resonator are removable. The mouthpiece is fully washable, so you can keep the instrument clean at all times. It also comes with a hook, so you can hang it around your neck with a string. One of the great features of this instrument, among many others, is that it produces sound by sucking. When sucked, it produces a sound one octave higher than the blown sound.
