Noise signals picked up by two sensors (microphones) located on the outside and inside of the headphones are all digitized, along with the player's music signal. The DNC (Digital Noise Cancelling) software engine combines feedforward and feedback techniques to generate highly accurate anti-phase sound that effectively cancels out noise. High-Precision Voice Pickup Technology: High-precision voice pickup technology optimally controls two microphones, a feedforward microphone in the left housing and a dedicated microphone for calls, and performs advanced audio signal processing to deliver high-quality call sound. Your voice is clearly heard even in noisy environments.
The touch sensor control panel on the housing allows you to skip forward/backward, play/pause, adjust the volume, and even answer/end calls on your smartphone or other music player. It also supports activating your smartphone's voice assistant functions, such as Siri® (*1) and the Google™ app (*2). You can perform a variety of operations using just the headphones, without having to take out your smartphone.
You can check the current status of your headphones at a glance, including remaining battery life, the connected codec, and whether DSEE is on or off.
