Zoom XYH-5 Shock Mounted XY Stereo Microphone Capsule

This XY stereo microphone capsule is compatible with the H5, H6, and H8 handheld recorders, the Q8 handheld video recorder, the U-44 audio interface, and the F1, F4, F8, and F8n field recorders. It features a newly developed shock mount mechanism using vibration-damping rubber and a floating structure that prevents the microphone case from directly contacting the die-cast base. This prevents external physical vibrations from being transmitted directly to the microphone, minimizing handling noise from the recorder itself. Its 140dB SPL sound pressure resistance ensures clear, distortion-free recording even at loud rock concerts or during news coverage where sudden loud noises may occur.
