For the midrange and treble, we have adopted the classic American Knowles driver, known for its reliable performance, and selected a new bio-cellulose diaphragm dynamic driver to deliver powerful bass. [Bio-Cellulose Diaphragm Driver] A sturdy 10mm bio-cellulose diaphragm dynamic driver drives the sub-bass and bass response. Using a stronger neodymium magnet, the bass response is extremely quick and tight, and the bio-cellulose membrane enhances the texture of the low frequencies. Compared to a regular balanced armature woofer, this large 10mm dynamic driver delivers much better bass performance. [Made in the USA Knowles Balanced Armature Drivers] Renowned for their excellent midrange performance, the two Knowles 29689 balanced armature drivers deliver natural and accurate midrange and high-mid frequencies. Vocals and string instruments, in particular, are exceptionally well-tuned thanks to the precisely tuned 29689 drivers. Finally, we chose the Knowles 31736 twin balanced armature drivers to provide a pure treble response. These drivers are some of the most known and beloved in the IEM industry, and they've been reintroduced to introduce a new sound with new tuning innovations. [Balanced Monitor Tuning] Tuning was the most important aspect of Arete's development. It had to maintain the natural sound quality of professional studio monitors while still providing powerful bass and an enjoyable listening experience. The midrange is nearly flat and natural from 300Hz to 1kHz, reproducing instruments and vocals exactly as they were recorded, without any coloration. Furthermore, this neutral midrange allows for excellent instrument layering and imaging, allowing the listener to distinguish each instrument line within the mix. [Focused Bass Impact] To achieve subwoofer-like bass, the bass is tuned with a 9dB shelf that cuts off precisely at 300Hz.
