The TAMA “Sizzle Touch” drop clutch is a revolutionary drop clutch that allows you to fine-tune the tightness of the hi-hat cymbal, which was impossible with previous models, and allows you to obtain a half-open sound. Compatible with TAMA's hi-hat rods (6mm diameter) as well as rods up to 7mm diameter. A drop clutch is a hi-hat clutch that allows you to drop the top cymbal and close it by hitting the lever with a stick. TAMA SIZZLE TOUCH DROP CLUTCH allows you to adjust the closed position and get a half-open sound. Of course, just like with a standard drop clutch, you can resume normal open/close performance by stepping on the footboard of the stand. Cymbals can be set/released with one touch by simply operating the button on the bottom part. Additionally, by minimizing the contact area with the top cymbal, you can get a more natural sound and sustain when playing half-open or open.
