In the photo, it sits loosely on the head, with fur covering half the head. In reality, on my adult head, it's a tight fit, the fur is a thin strip. It only covers the neck. All functions are performed. In the frost, the neck and cheeks are warm, and the top of the head is warm if you pull the drawstring, but then the fur gets in the eyes. Overall, one needs to get used to it.
