It may be difficult to see in the photo, but this product is satin silver plated, not satin silver-tone painted.

Satin silver plating is achieved by using a plating process that produces a glossy silver finish, rather than a mirror finish. (Mirror finishes are called chrome plating.)

It is also different from simple silver paint.
