The 2019 designs are the "Yellow" mug, released in 1990, and the "Fray" mug, created in 2012 to commemorate Helsinki's selection as a World Design Capital. The "Yellow" mug depicts Moominmamma in her everyday life. She's hardworking, kind, and even capable of heavy lifting. She's always at the center of Moominhouse, trusted by everyone. It's hard to find a more kind and thoughtful person. "Fray" is a scene from the picture book "Kunit the Lonely." This illustration depicts the Moomins having fun at a crowded amusement park. In the original picture book, Kunit is seen gazing at this fun-filled amusement park from the shade of a tree. Kunit is very shy and can't join in the group. The red circles accent the image, representing the balloons held by Homsa and his friends as they spin around on the swings. *Available only in Finland and Japan.
