This model features the MUDMAN from the MASTER OF G series, featuring a mud-resistant construction. Its design is inspired by the hippopotamus*, an endangered species due to habitat loss caused by development and climate change, as well as poaching. The bezel and band feature a dynamic design of thick, rough hippopotamus skin, evoking the world's third-largest terrestrial mammal and its toughness. The buttons are also inspired by hippopotamus design and feature a rose gold IP finish. EARTHWATCH Japan's slogan, "Change the World. Yourself," is printed on the band, and the company's logo is printed on the band. The logo also appears on the LED backlight, and the "Love the Sea and the Earth" symbol is engraved on the case back, showcasing meticulous design details. The watch is also equipped with Tough Solar technology, which can operate even with low light levels, such as fluorescent lamps, further embodying environmental considerations.
