The Toyama Chiho Railway Tramway has an expanding north-south network centered around Toyama Station. North-south service began on March 21, 2020, providing daily transportation for Toyama residents, as well as for commuters, students, and tourists. A total of four T100 series trains were introduced between 2010 and 2017. Affectionately known as the "Santram," these trains feature a triple-articulated body and high transport capacity. Car No. 104 was introduced in 2017 as the fourth Santram train, featuring an orange-based design with yellow lines below the windows.

By using a separately sold power unit, this train can be operated as an N-gauge model train. The separately sold power unit is compatible with the Railway Collection Power Unit TM-LRT02.

This model train is powered by the rails. No batteries are required for running, lighting, or illumination.
