This is the North American model of the SRPD85K1, and although it looks the same at first glance, it has the words "MOV'T JAPAN" printed on the edge of the dial at 6 o'clock (as of May 2020). The Seiko Five Sports series originated from the Seiko Sportsmatic 5 (commonly known as the Seiko Five) released by Seiko in 1963. Its derivative series, the Seiko Five Sports, was born in 1968 with sportier functions and designs. The new Seiko Five Sports has been updated with updated functions and a new logo design. Equipped with a 4R-series movement, it features hand-winding and hacking functions not available with the 7S movement, and offers a sporty design with a style concept that suits a variety of occasions.
