This second volume in the "Anthology" series looks back on the history of The Beatles through rare tracks. This disc features 44 tracks from studio outtakes and live recordings left behind by The Beatles from 1965 to early 1968, plus Disc 1, which includes new Beatles recordings.

A particular highlight is the numerous unreleased and unfinished versions from "Revolver" to "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," when The Beatles first began to focus on recording.
