This pedal is ideal for reducing signal buzz when you're not playing. The toggle switch has two settings: hard and soft. The hard setting adjusts the pedal to release quickly. The hard setting is ideal for eliminating unwanted string noise and creating clean silence between heavy metal riffs. A soft setting provides a gentler release for less abrupt termination. The Threshold knob adjusts when the pedal begins to cut off the signal. With the knob set to -30dB, the pedal will cut off all signals below that value. Setting the Threshold to a higher value, such as 10, can create great effects with reverb and heavy distortion. The True-Bypass Footswitch allows your tone to pass through the pedal unaffected in the "Off" position. Note: Please note that this pedal cannot be powered by batteries. It requires a center-negative 9V DC power supply to power it. Purchased separately.
