This may cause the hose to burst or become damaged. ● When connecting a hose to a nipple, insert it all the way in. {Attaching Fittings} ● Do not use sharp fittings that may cut the inside of the hose, or fittings with scratches or rust on the nipple surface. This may cause the hose to burst or become disconnected. ● When inserting the hose into the nipple's barb, do not apply oil or heat the hose or the barb of the nipple over a fire. This may cause the hose to become disconnected. If you have difficulty inserting the hose, warm the hose in lukewarm water before inserting it. ● When securing the hose to the nipple, tighten the hose clamp so that it is centered over the barb of the nipple. This may damage the hose and cause it to burst. ● Tighten the hose clamp as necessary. Take care as hoses soften, especially at high temperatures. ● When removing the hose clamp, do not apply impact with a hammer or other object. This may damage the hose and cause it to burst. ● Do not use one-push fittings for tubes.
