Product Introduction: Track with a bed and a gauge of 6.5mm. The metal parts, such as the rails, are made of brass (nickel silver) for excellent conductivity. (Some parts are stainless steel.) The joints connecting the beds are designed as separate parts, allowing for easy replacement if damaged. The cross-section shape of the metal rails uses a custom design shaped like the letter "E." Z-gauge rails are very thin, and when creating a large layout, there is a possibility that vehicles running far from the power supply may experience a decrease in speed due to electrical resistance. To minimize this, the cross-sectional area of the rails has been increased within realistic limits to reduce electrical resistance as much as possible. A power supply section is provided on the straight rails, allowing for multiple power supply points to help maintain uniform vehicle speed. A cover is included for the power supply section, which can be used to maintain appearance when not in use. The tire tread on the rails has been designed slightly wider to improve grip for rubber tires on the wheels.
