The "Kaweco Sport," released in the 1930s, was even designated as the official pen for the 1972 Munich Olympics. The "Kaweco Sport" combines a classic image with functionality and portability. Kaweco ceased operations in 1976 but was revived in 1995 by Gutbarrett GmbH in Nuremberg, Germany. Since then, many pens retaining the original design have been reissued.
