A telephoto zoom lens equipped with Sigma's unique image stabilization OS (Optical Stabilizer) mechanism. Demonstrates an image stabilization effect of approximately 4 steps. Three sheets of SLD (special low dispersion) glass are used to effectively correct chromatic aberrations. Adopts a rear focus system with little aberration variation due to focusing. Demonstrates excellent depiction performance in the entire shooting range. The shortest shooting distance is 150 cm across the entire zoom range, and the maximum shooting ratio is 1:4.2, making it powerful even for close-up shots. Equipped with an HSM (ultrasonic motor), the AF speed is increased and quietness is achieved. Full-time manual focus is also possible. When an APO teleconverter sold separately is attached, it can be used as a 168-560mm F6.3-8 with the APO TELE CONVERTER 1.4x EX DG and 240-800mm F9-11 with the APO TELE CONVERTER 2x EX DG, respectively.
