The NOKTON 75mm F1.5 Aspherical is a large-aperture manual focus medium telephoto lens exclusively for Sony E-mount cameras. It covers the full-frame image circle, and its optical design is optimized for the image sensors of Sony mirrorless cameras. This lens features electronic contacts, allowing lens usage information to be reflected in the Exif data of the captured image. Furthermore, it enables electronic correction of peripheral illumination, chromatic aberration, and distortion via a setting on the camera body. It also has a built-in distance encoder, making it compatible with cameras equipped with 5-axis in-body image stabilization that uses distance information to the subject for shift blur correction. Magnified viewfinder display via the focus ring is also possible, enabling comfortable manual focusing. The lens construction consists of 7 elements in 6 groups, achieving both compactness and high performance despite its large aperture of F1.5.
