Your parcel is sent from Japan. Customs or the delivery company in your country may need to contact YOU directly. If they cannot reach you, the parcel is returned to Japan. This is the most common reason an order is not delivered. Please help us with these 6 points:
・① Correct phone number: Please register a phone number that you use every day, with your country code. A wrong or old number is the number one cause of a returned parcel.
・② Answer unknown calls: Customs and couriers call from local numbers you do not know. Please answer these calls during the delivery period.
・③ Check all messages: Please check SMS, email (including the spam folder), messenger apps, your Joom notifications, and any paper notice in your mailbox.
・④ Answer customs quickly: Customs may ask for your ID, passport or tax number, or a document. For some high-value orders, or for parcels delivered by a courier company, a payment may also be requested. Please reply within the time limit they give you. Many countries hold a parcel only for a few days.
・⑤ Collect it in time: If the parcel waits at a post office or pick-up point, please collect it before the storage period ends.
・⑥ Use your official name: Please write your full name and address exactly as they appear on your official ID. In some countries, customs cannot clear a parcel if the name does not match.
・If your address or phone number changes after you order, please inform Joom Customer Support immediately. Only Joom can update your order information.
🇯🇵 ABOUT JAPANESE PRODUCTS
・The instruction manual, package, labels and product display are generally in Japanese only. In many products the language cannot be changed.
・Electrical products are made for Japan (100V, Type A plug). If the label says "AC 100V" only, a step-down transformer is required in most countries. A plug adapter alone changes only the shape, not the voltage, and can destroy the product. If the label says "AC 100-240V", only a plug adapter is needed.
・Media and electronics may follow Japanese regions and standards (DVD Region 2 / Blu-ray Region A, Japanese TV and radio bands, Japan-only apps and services).
・Sizes follow Japanese standards. Japanese sizes are often smaller than EU or US sizes. Please check the measurements in centimeters, not the size letter.
・For food, cosmetics and similar goods: ingredients and the expiry date are printed in Japanese. Please check your country's import rules before ordering, as some items cannot be imported.
