The ambition of origami as it approaches a flat, paper-thin world
The latest installment in the Paper Mario series, featuring a flat, paper-thin Mario, is coming to Nintendo Switch!
Mario is invited to a festival by Princess Peach. However, waiting for him at the castle are Princess Peach, who has been turned into origami, and an origami King Olly. King Olly folds up the Toads and other "paper" creatures, declaring that he will turn the entire world into origami, and carries Princess Peach and the castle away to a distant mountain. Mario, along with King Olly's sister Olivia, travels the world, sometimes cooperating with Bowser's paper army, in an attempt to stop King Olly's ambitions and reach Peach's Castle.
The vast paper map is filled with puzzles and encounters with unique characters. As you interact with the characters, you'll search for the folded Toad and solve mysteries using the new "Paper Hand" gameplay. You'll battle the origami soldiers attacking Mario in a new "puzzle x action" battle system. Rotate, align, and defeat the enemies that surround you 360 degrees!
