Specification: Item Type: End Fed Half Wave Antenna Material: ABS Weight: Approx. 190.00g 6.7oz Power Level: SSB CW < 100W, FT8 FM FSK < 60W Matching Ratio: 1:64. Package List: 1 x End Fed Half Wave Antenna 1 x User Manual Note: The end fed antenna generally does not require a ground network for single sideband (SSB). However, for data connections like FT8 and FT4 that may cause interference, an external ground network can be used. A 1 to 2 meter single wire connected to the matching unit can be used as a naturally hanging ground wire. Installing a ground network will shift the resonance point, which can be corrected by adjusting the length of the oscillator using an antenna analyzer. Shortening the length of the ground network can reduce this issue and achieve optimal performance.
