It is not exactly a soft case, although it has protected the mobile well from bumps/falls in the time I have used it.. The material is soft and therefore a bit slippery, although once you get used to it, it's like nothing.. Normally it gets dirty considering that it is a light shade, but since I in particular have the habit of cleaning the mobile at least a couple of times a week with a slightly damp cloth, it was especially good in the corners and that's it.
