[Product Highlights & Recommended Points]
●Designed for Light Jigging & Super Light Jigging (SLJ)
Lightweight body with a focus on operability, engineered to handle fights with medium-sized to larger fish even using light tackle.
●NEW Fall Lever for Significantly Improved Free-Fall Operation
The fall lever incorporates a one-way roller bearing, allowing brake application without making the handle rotation stiff. It offers precise fall control and strong responsiveness to tension changes.
●Line Counter with Retrieval Distance Alarm & Enhanced Visibility
An alarm notifies you of the retrieval distance in set increments (5m, 10m, 20m, etc.) after engaging the clutch. The line counter’s viewing angle has been improved for easy checking of depth and range.
●Pre-Registered Learning Data for Light Lines (PE 0.6–1.5)
Data for specific PE line sizes can be pre-registered to minimize errors in spooling and depth management, reducing preparation and effort during actual fishing.
●Lightweight Body (240g) Reduces Fatigue on Long Fishing Trips
Approximately 25g lighter than the previous model. The design balances weight and rigidity using CI4+ material for the side plate and overall structural improvements.
●High Gear Ratio (8.1:1) & Retrieval Speed of 81cm/rotation
High-speed retrieval enhances performance in strong currents and allows rapid winding for fishing techniques that require fast line pickup.
●Strong Drag (5kg) & Generous Spool Capacity
Maximum drag around 5kg. PE line capacity is ample: PE0.8–400m, 1.0–330m, 1.5–200m. Provides strength and endurance even in deep waters or fast currents.
●Durable & Waterproof Construction
Level-wind mechanism ensures straight line release. Incorporates Shimano technologies like HAGANE Body, MicroModule Gears, and X-PROTECT for durability, sensitivity, and smooth operation.
●Power Handle + CI4+ Round Knob for Improved Operability
Features a 60mm cold-forged power handle, ensuring strong power transmission when handling heavy jigs or fish. The knob design is ergonomic for prolonged use with minimal hand fatigue.
[Summary]
The SHIMANO 24 Grappler Premium 151XG (Left-Handed) is a reel that excels in light jigging and super light jigging, combining lightness, speed, operability, and durability. Improvements such as the upgraded fall lever, retrieval distance alarm, and PE line learning function enhance practical usability. This reel is highly recommended for anglers who want to strategically manage their fishing from fall to retrieve and depth control. With reinforced rigidity and waterproofing, it performs reliably in offshore conditions with waves, wind, and tide. For those seeking a reel that retrieves quickly, targets precise ranges, and minimizes fatigue during long fishing sessions, the 151XG delivers exactly that.
