This variation is based on the A0141 (shipped January 2005). The ED71, essential for recreating the southern Tohoku Main Line of yesteryear, is back. The front has been newly recreated, featuring a dual-sealed beam conversion, a rare feature in later models. The front and rear driver's side taillights have been faithfully recreated, with an externally mounted taillight. The guide handrail is a separate part, upgraded with a release lever. The side features a horizontal row of louvers and skylights, and the roof piping is different from the A0142:ED71-16.
