The rod's base is designed for dual-handed use, allowing anglers to shift their grip to match the movements of a large fish. While the end caps are made of durable stainless steel, we also offer EVA fighting butt caps (which fit snugly over the end caps) to protect the angler's abdomen and thighs from damage when receiving the pull of a larger fish.
