A juvenile puzzle-solving adventure that intersects with reality as you explore a mysterious game.
In 1994, four teenagers find a mysterious game at a garage sale.
As they play, it strangely connects with reality.
What dangers will you face to uncover the secrets of "The Initiative"?
In "The Initiative," you begin the story by reading the comic,
then actually play "The KEY," the board game featured within the story.
In "The KEY," a cooperative spy action board game,
players each become spies and use action cards to collect secrets within infiltrated buildings.
The secrets they collect contain "codes," which can open corresponding "windows" on mission cards inserted into the mission console.
The player's objective is to deduce the "objective" of the mission card from the sequence of letters and numbers revealed when the "windows" open.
Over time, you will lose the game of "The KEY," so you will need to solve the mystery by opening as few "windows" as possible.
As the story unfolds, it will gradually begin to eerily coincide with the real-life events occurring within the story,
and as the story progresses, gameplay will also intersect with the events in the game...
Will you, the players, be able to solve this mystery to the end and see the story's conclusion?
There are 39 missions available.
This is a new type of cooperative puzzle-solving game full of surprises and immersion, where puzzles scattered all over the place lead to more mysteries.
