Hailing from Manchester, Hot Milk is a four-member band fronted by Han Mee and Jim Shaw, who share twin vocals. They are one of the most attention-grabbing acts in the 2025 rock scene. Their highly anticipated second album 'Corporation P.O.P' (Corpotation P.O.P) is produced by Jim Shaw, Zack Jones, and KJ Strock. The band showcases the heaviest sound, raw and honest lyrics. This album also serves as a social commentary, reflecting the darker aspects of the world surrounding them during the songwriting process. At the same time, their witty and satirical humor is sprinkled throughout.

A music video for the new song '90 Seconds To Midnight', featuring UK comedian Frank Skinner, has also garnered attention. Filmed and produced in their hometown of Salford with their long-time friend Kennedy, the song's theme is about the Doomsday Clock approaching midnight, evoking the mood of an impending nuclear winter. Han Mee explains, 'This desperate song aims to shock listeners. The lyrics were inspired by 17th-century philosopher Rousseau and poet John Betjeman's poem 'Slough'. Rousseau argued that humans create their own shackles and can never be truly free. In this case, we have created our own destruction. Betjeman's poem addresses this concept of an end, dismissing it with humor and welcoming nuclear weapons as 'friendly bombs'. He also mentions starting from zero.'

After releasing their debut album, which reached the UK Top 40, Hot Milk has gone on three UK tours, headlined festivals, embarked on a world tour, and surpassed 100 million streams worldwide. In May and April, the band toured the UK and the US. They are also set to make their first appearance at Summer Sonic 2025 in Japan, with performances scheduled in Tokyo on August 16 and Osaka on August 17, raising high expectations.
