Tales of Abyss, originally released in December 2004, has been ported to the PSP. This is the sixth installment in the Tales of series. The PSP version features the series' signature Arena, an additional feature exclusive to the PSP version. Players can obtain items and titles by following set rules and winning battles. Numerous cut-ins, which play an important role in battle presentations, have also been added. Not only are cut-ins added for allied characters, but also for some enemy characters with exclusive moves. Event scenes include all of the events from the PS2 version, plus additional original event scenes exclusive to the PSP version. This allows players to glimpse character conversations not seen in the PS2 version, further deepening the story. The PSP version also features a wealth of original features, such as an illustration gallery. Even players who have played the PS2 version will find this a fresh experience.
